Don’t Put Your Happiness on Hold
If you’ll watch this short 5-minute video, you’ll hear me talk about “enjoying the journey” toward your wealth. Instead of putting your “happiness on hold”, I talk about being happy WHILE you’re getting out of debt and working toward a life of financial freedom.
One of the reasons I bring this up is that for too long, I put my own happiness on hold, until I reached certain financial goals. I had a mountain of credit card debt and bills. I was living in a beat-up mobile home. And I was struggling to get by, working at a series of dead-end jobs.
And I don’t regret any of that, because the pain of living that life gave me the motivation I needed to do whatever it took to get out of that situation - and create a life of financial freedom. What I DO regret is that I waited until I reached certain financial goals - to let myself be happy.
If I had to do it all over again? I’d happily work toward my goals. I would moan about my failures or lack of money. I wouldn’t share my hard-luck stories with others. I’d go back and enjoy the process of getting out of debt and building real wealth.
Because life, I believe, is about the journey. It’s about what we do and who we become in the process. Am I happy today? Absolutely! And I’m extremely happy to be sharing what I’ve learned with others.
But if there’s something I’d change, it would be to go back and really find my happiness where I was at the time. As a good friend of mine says, “You have to grow where you’re planted.” :0)
Anyway, that’s my message for this week. Watch the video - and, if you have a spare moment, leave me a comment. I always appreciate hearing your thoughts about these weekly posts.
Have a great weekend!
Best Wishes,
Jeff :0)
P.S. Oh yeah… one last thing. If you’re interested in getting the free 20-page PDF newsletter I mention on the video, you can grab it by going to http://www.millionaireintraining.com

I received an email from a client recently who wondered why he hadn’t made any money yet. He’d been buying money-making opportunities for years - but was in deeper debt now than before he started looking for a way to make extra income. I thought about how I went from being an “opportunity seeker” to running my own successful business… and think I found an answer. Click the play button to check out what I think separates the “opportunity seeker” from the millionaires.
I hope you enjoy the video post. It’s something new I’m trying. (I’m a bit stuffed up from a cold I’m getting over, so I apologize in advance for sounding a bit nasal.)
Have a great weekend!
Best,
Jeff
